Now that the Rangers have their coach, the roster work can begin.
The Blueshirts agreed to terms on an extension with pending restricted free agent forward Juuso Pärssinen on Friday.
The deal is expected to come in at two years with an average annual value of $1.25 million, per The Post’s Larry Brooks.
Pärssinen came to New York, along with defenseman Calvin de Haan and two conditional 2025 draft picks, in a March 1 trade with the Avalanche that sent Ryan Lindgren, Jimmy Vesey and prospect Hank Kempf to Colorado.
The 24-year-old appeared in 11 games with the Blueshirts this season, recording two goals and three assists.
