Naomi Watts gushed over her daughter, Kai Schreiber, for scoring a modeling gig in Valentino’s pre-fall campaign on social media.
The “Mulholland Drive” actress posted photos of the 16-year-old’s photoshoot as well as behind-the-scenes snaps working with the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele.
“Congratulations @kaischreiberrr — so exciting!! ❤️,” she captioned the photos Wednesday. “@alessandro_michele your vision is spectacularly poetic 💥 Beaming with pride 😃 🙌.”
Kai also shared the exciting news by posting similar snaps and thanking the team who gave her the opportunity.
“i am endlessly grateful for this campaign and everyone on the team ILY ALLLL🎀💋💗💕,” she captioned the pictures Wednesday.
Watts, 56, continued expressing how proud she is of her teenager, whom she shares with ex Liev Schrieber, by commenting, “Love this so much. Pure poetry 🙌🙌🙌 ❤️❤️❤️.”
For the shoot, Kai wore a black peplum top with sheer sleeves and a blue bow cinched at her waist, light-wash jeans, sheer gloves and black heels.
Amelia Gray Hamlin, Sophie Thatcher, Scarlett White and Lorenzo Zurzolo joined Kai as stars of the same campaign, staged outside of a faux ice cream shop.
The model posed in the campaign just one month after she made her runway debut at the same fashion brand during Paris Fashion Week.
Kai strutted down the catwalk in a long-sleeve leopard minidress with a feathered collar and sheer lace tights.
She added a pair of black and blue sunglasses and a beige lace headpiece that wrapped around her entire head.
Both of her famous parents supported Kai by sharing photos from her runway debut and gushing over how proud they were of her.
“That’s my @maisonvalentino baby! I’m squealing with pride. Ilysm,” Watts wrote via Instagram last month.
The “Perfect Couple” actor, 57, also shared his excitement by captioning a photo of her on the catwalk, “Ladies and gentlemen the one, the only, the indomitable @kaischreiberr!”
Just a few days after her big fashion moment, Liev defended his daughter against the “haters” who chalked up her success to her famous parents.
“That’s her life. She does what she wants with her life, and I’m super proud of her,” he told TMZ in March. “I thought she did an amazing job in the show.”
Liev and Watts, who also share 17-year-old son Sasha, were together for 11 years before separating in 2016.
Watts has since wed Billy Crudup in June 2023, while Liev married Taylor Neisen just one month later.
