Aaron Rodgers shared a rare glimpse into his “serious” new relationship with a mystery woman while discussing his future with the NFL.
“I’ll set it all straight,” the quarterback said on Thursday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show.”
“From the jump, I’m in a different phase of my life, I’m 41 years old [and] I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-field stuff going on that requires my attention.”
Rodgers, 41, explained he has “a lot of things” that have been taking up his time since the beginning of the year.
“I have personal commitments I’ve made, not knowing what my future would look like after next year,” he added. “I have a couple of people in my inner circle who are battling difficult stuff.”
“That’s where I’ve been focusing most of my attention on. To make a commitment to a team is a big thing.”
Rodgers claimed that he generally lives a “quiet life” and wouldn’t know the rumors about his future in the NFL if his family didn’t keep him informed.
The athlete is a free agent, and fans are eagerly waiting to see if he will sign with another team or retire.
He played with the Green Bay Packers for 18 Seasons from 2005 to 2022, and the New York Jets from 2023 to 2024.
Rodgers, meanwhile, first mentioned his new girlfriend during an appearance on Pat McAfee’s show in December.
At the time, the New York Jets alum revealed her name was Brittani and quipped that she was “not Britney Spears.”
When McAfee joked about Rodgers being “in love,” the latter didn’t disagree.
“It’s a good feeling, boys,” he said.
Rodgers was previously dated actresses Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley, whom he started dating during the COVID-19 pandemic and got engaged to in 2021.
The exes called it quits in 2022, which the “Divergent” star once said was the “darkest” period of her life.
