A pair of illegal Venezuelan migrants — including one with likely ties to Tren de Aragua — allegedly kidnapped a Washington state woman, power-drilled a hole in her hand and shot her on the side of a highway, according to police.
Kevin Daniel Sanabria Ojeda, 24, and Alexander Moises Arnaez-Gutierrez, 25, allegedly told the 58-year-old woman they had been waiting for her when they approached her outside of her apartment in Burien in King County on Jan. 28 and forced her into their car.
Sanabria Ojeda shot at the victims but missed as she struggled as she screamed for help to no avail. The brutes stuffed her in the car and kicked her head multiple times as they forced her to lie down on the floor and tortured her for her bank information, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Fox News.
“The suspects then forced [the victim] to provide the PIN for her credit cards/banks cards by drilling into her right hand with a power drill,” police wrote in their report.
“They then threatened her by telling her they were going to kill her, kill her family, feed her to the bears and dump her body far away.”
Sanabria Ojeda and Arnaez-Gutierrez allegedly drove the terrified woman to Kittitas County where they pulled over on Interstate-90. One of the suspects said that the woman had heard too much in the car and wanted her dead.
They pulled her out of the car and threw her over a retaining wall where Sanabria Ojeda shot her.
“They shot her on a mountain pass and left her for dead,” investigators wrote in the report.
The woman was shot in the shoulder but “played dead” for 15 minutes before she climbed back over the wall and flagged down a driver for help.
Meanwhile, the suspects then drove back to the victim’s apartment where they stole her car, her purse and nearly $20,000 worth of jewelry and gold.
She was rushed to a local hospital where she was interviewed by police who had responded to her apartment after neighbors reported hearing screams.
The FBI helped track Sanabria Ojeda’s vehicle to a motel in Lansing, Illinois. He was arrested and a subsequent search of his hotel room revealed the woman’s jewelry.
Sanabria Ojeda admitted to police that he was involved in the disturbing crime, according to the police report.
Mercer Island police then arrested Arnaez-Guitierrez during a traffic stop last week.
The King County Sheriff’s Office says one suspect has probable ties to Tren de Aragua, but did not say which one.
The two are each charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery. Prosecutors have requested they be held on a $1 million bail
The pair are both illegal immigrants from Venezuela, and ICE has placed detainers on both of them with local authorities, ICE officials confirmed to Fox News.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
