The Mets switched the start time of Tuesday’s game from 7:10 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. due to anticipated frigid weather.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s at Citi Field on Tuesday night, but will still be in the mid-40s at the new game time.

Asked after Monday’s 2-0 win over Miami if he had any input on the decision to make the switch, Carlos Mendoza laughed and said, “I found out on the scoreboard [during the game].”

That game was played in Queens with a first-pitch temperature of 42 degrees.

Fans with a ticket for Tuesday’s game will receive a voucher for a ticket to any remaining Monday-Thursday regular season home game in April and May at Citi Field, subject to availability.

The move comes after the Tigers made a similar decision with their series against the Yankees, moving three games scheduled for 6:10 p.m. to the afternoon.
