Travis Kelce knows Taylor Swift’s “Saturday Night Live” history all too well.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end proved his “OG Swiftie” status in Friday’s “New Heights” podcast episode as he and his brother, Jason Kelce, interviewed Jason Sudeikis.
The “Ted Lasso” star, 49, mentioned the singer, 35, while sharing “a few of [his] personal favorite” moments from the NBC sketch show.
“We did a sketch called ‘Potato Chip,’” he recalled. “The very first time we did it was with Taylor when she hosted.”
Travis, 35, chimed in, “Nice! A young Taylor, too.”
Sudeikis confirmed, “A young Taylor, yeah.”
The comedian noted that the sketch “didn’t make it to air,” noting, “We ended up doing it with Blake Lively. She ended up getting it over the hump for us.”
He called it the “silliest” moment “worth looking up.”
Social media users praised Travis for knowing about Swift playing double duty as host and musical guest in her “SNL” debut — and wondered whether he is familiar with her monologue song.
At the time, the pop star sang about “writing songs about douchebags who cheat,” called out Joe Jonas for breaking up with her over the phone and played coy about Taylor Lautner dating rumors.
Sudeikis appeared at the end of the performance as a security guard pretending to keep an eye out for Kanye West interruptions.
“So he knows the monologue song,” one Swiftie wrote of Travis’ comment. “Now I’m imagining her singing, ‘Now if you wonder if I’m engaged to the football player.’”
Another added, “I’m starting to wonder if there’s any video of Taylor that this man hasn’t found. OG Swiftie.”
The athlete has frequently mentioned his girlfriend on his and Jason’s podcast since their love story began in the summer of 2023.
While she did not come up by name in Wednesday’s episode, Travis casually sang a line from “22” and hinted he was recording the show from Swift’s New York City neighborhood.
