Dylan Efron confirmed that he has a girlfriend — and he’s thinking of making her his wife.
The “Traitors” star, 33, revealed on Friday’s episode of “The Viall Files” that he is “in a relationship” with a woman named Courtney.
“It’s cool because she’s actually not on social media and she works a 40-hour week,” he told Nick Viall.
Zac Efron’s younger brother explained that he has known Courtney since childhood, though he didn’t specify when they started dating.
“We’re from the same town,” he said. “It works out really well.”
However, he clarified that he’s kept his relationship on the down-low because Courtney enjoys her privacy.
“It’s not, like, I’m hiding her from the world or anything,” the actor said. “She understands the job, all the stuff. She doesn’t really like being on camera.”
When asked if he plans on popping the question soon, Dylan replied, “That’s something that’s definitely [on the horizon].”
“Well, she knows the answer. We’re working on it,” he teased. “Courtney’s so down-to-earth, she’d never [impose a deadline]. Look, we’re 33. She’s not going to put a deadline on it.”
Despite not rushing into marriage, Dylan is definitely focused on his future and starting a family.
“I am now in that stage of I’m looking at the next chapter. I want kids. Like, I got a little brother and sister who are like 4 and 5 now, so I got to see the joy of them growing up and I want that for myself too,” he said, referencing his younger half-siblings, Henry and Olivia.
Due to his close bond with his little sister, Dylan said he wants to be a “girl dad so bad.”
While it’s unclear if Courtney is also ready for children, she and Dylan have definitely bonded over their love of reality TV.
“’Survivor’ was the day one. [It] was my first dabble into it, and then my girlfriend watches a lot of it, too,” he said. “I’ll just be sitting down and then I’ll be watching a whole episode of ‘Southern Charm.’ It’s, like, there’s some funny s–t that goes down in those stuff.”
The former production assistant and his partner also share other passions, such as being active together and listening to audiobooks.
“I just posted something of us rock climbing in Joshua Tree. She’s a trooper. She can keep up!” he gushed, before adding that they “listen to audiobooks” before bed.
“We fight over whose audio we’re gonna listen to,” Dylan said. “It’s like, ‘Are we gonna listen to Jeff Lewis?’ We both agree that we can listen to ‘Viall Files,’ but, otherwise, I have things I want to listen to that she doesn’t want to, so we fight over that quite a bit.”
Dylan told Viall that he first found out about the “Bachelor” alum’s podcast because Courtney is an avid listener.
“She loves you guys’ podcast. I wouldn’t know about it [without her],” he said. “She’s the one who introduced me.”
The reality TV rookie was previously romantically linked to Vanessa Hudgens’ younger sister, Stella, in 2010. Vanessa famously started dating Zac after meeting on set of their 2006 film “High School Musical,” before breaking up in 2010.
