Tiger Woods makes surprise TGL request from his son Charlie — chicken fingers

Tiger Woods was pretty relaxed during Jupiter Links’ final match of the TGL’s inaugural season, and that was evident when the GOAT of golf jokingly prodded his son for a chicken tender in the middle of the competition against Atlanta Drive GC.

The ESPN cameras caught the funny moment where Woods’ son, Charlie, seemed to offer his dad chicken fingers from the suite down by the playing surface.

“Chicken Fingers?” Woods said to his son.

“Give me one. Just throw me one,” Woods said moments later in a sterner tone as he seemed to grow impatient with how slow his son was getting him the mid-match snack. “Throw me one. Throw me one.”

Tuesday wasn’t the first time Tiger and Charlie got into chicken tender-related shenanigans.

In 2023, the PGA Tour posted a video from the PNC Championship, where the older Woods was seen taking a bite of a chicken tender and then tossing the uneaten piece at his son, who was standing off in the distance doing an interview.

Charlie looked over at his dad while the 15-time major winner sheepishly looked down to the ground.

On Tuesday, Jupiter Links lost to Atlanta, 9-1, in their season finale that included several other memorable moments.

One of which was a cheeky moment between Woods and teammate Tom Kim when the broadcast captured Woods asking the younger Kim when he was born.

After Kim informed him that he was born in 2002, Woods made a hilarious comment.

“I won three Masters by the time you were born,” Woods told him.

The Tuesday TGL match had plenty of star power inside SoFi Center in Florida with the likes of Bills star quarterback Josh Allen, former Jets QB Sam Darnold, Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado and five-time Grammy-winning artist Celine Dion all in attendance.
