Zoë Kravitz breaks her silence on Channing Tatum split 4 months after ending engagement

Zoë Kravitz has no beef with ex-fiancé Channing Tatum.

The “Big Little Lies” star, 36, addressed her split from the “Magic Mike” actor, 44, for the first time in an interview with Elle magazine published Tuesday — and said the breakup doesn’t change how she feels about their movie “Blink Twice.”

“Not at all,” she said. “I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much.

“Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened,” Kravitz continued. “I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”

Tatum starred in Kravitz’s 2024 psychological thriller film, which marked her directorial debut, about a group of people invited to a billionaire tech mogul’s private island.

“He has so much more coming,” she said about her ex, “and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him.

“He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that,” Kravitz added.

The former couple first sparked dating rumors in August 2021, the same month that Kravitz finalized her divorce from Karl Glusman after just 18 months of marriage.

They announced their engagement in October 2023 after Tatum popped the question.

But news broke the following October that the stars broke up and called off their wedding.

As for the reason behind the split, a source told People magazine at the time, “They haven’t been on the same page and grew apart.”

The “Batman” actress gushed about Tatum on several occasions when they were together, including her cover interview for GQ’s 2022 Men of the Year issue.

“He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do,” she told the magazine. “We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other.”

Tatum, for his part, praised his bond with Kravitz in an interview with People in July 2024.

“This is what I’ll say about creating with someone that you are with or love: I suggest it,” he said. “If you are thinking about having a kid or if you’re thinking about getting married, go find the hardest possible creative project with your partner.”

Tatum and Kravitz are expected to reunite on screen following their split.

In October, Deadline reported that the exes joined the cast of the alien invasion comedy “Alpha Gang,” produced by and starring Cate Blanchett.
