The Catskill retreat featured in viral music video is for sale

A luxurious upstate getaway, recently featured in Puerto Rican singer and rapper Rauw Alejandro’s widely-viewed music video for his song “Ni Me Conozco,” is on the market for nearly $1.7 million.

Released just last week, the video has already surpassed 4.5 million views, and features scenes in the for-sale home’s cozy interiors and snow-covered woods.

In addition to a piece of trivia for Latin music lovers, the 2,990-square-foot property offers potential buyers a relaxing getaway on 3.4 wooded acres.

The custom-built home includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms. 18-foot ceilings and large windows add light to the open-concept layout. In addition to its trendy wabi-sabi style, the residence boasts high-end amenities like heated floors, a private sauna and an observatory deck.

Golan Elbaz and Neslihan Feradov of Om Builders NY designed and built the home, which was completed in January.

The husband and wife duo told The Post that they were inspired by the surrounding nature and Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics.

The house was scouted by the music video’s production company not long after it was listed for sale, Elbaz said. It was one of about 12 homes under consideration, but the team decided Elbaz and Feradov’s property best fit the bill for the song’s moody vibe.

Elbaz said the production team wanted to highlight the darkness and mystery of the Catskill’s snowy nights, “but still have the contemporary feel in it.”

“Then they chose ours, and they took it for 24 hours. They had a crew of like 40 people over there, it was crazy,” Elbaz said.

“It also gave us a validation, like people are interested in the Catskills,” Feradov said.

In the “Ni Me Conozco” video, Alejandro ruminates on a tumultuous breakup in the interior of the home, dusting off an LP in the sepia-toned living room.

Alejandro gained mainstream recognition in the late 2010s before skyrocketing to fame in the early 2020s with songs like “Todo de Ti” and “Desesperados.” He has collaborated with other stars like Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Bad Bunny.

In another “Ni Me Conozco” scene, the camera pans over the woods towards a broken-hearted Alejandro, chopping wood in front of the one-story home.

In a later shot, Alejandro stands in the backyard, confronted by his former lover and stalked by an eldritch-style monster.

The property sits on a thirty-acre subdivision owned by Elbaz and Feradov. They have a neighbor in the high-end eco-hotel and spa, the Pialue Catskill Hotel.

The blend of luxury and reflective isolation offered by the property was just right for “Ni Me Conozco.”

The song is featured on his 2024 album Cosa Nuestra, which was ranked by Rolling Stone as the tenth-best Latin album of the year. Alejandro kicks off a U.S. and European tour for the album this spring.
