Rihanna supported her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, at his criminal trial in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The “Diamonds” singer, 36, managed to avoid paparazzi outside the downtown courthouse, making a low-key entrance after the rapper, also 36, arrived solo, TMZ reported.
Rihanna wore a black coat and sat in the front row of the courtroom between her beau’s mom and sister, which caught the jurors’ attention, according to the outlet.
The pop star’s appearance signaled that she is sticking by Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, during his legal battle.
The couple shares two sons: RZA, 2, and Riot, 1.
Rocky was arrested at LAX in 2022 for allegedly shooting his former friend A$AP Relli during a heated 2021 dispute in Hollywood.
The “L$D” performer and the Fenty Beauty founder, who was pregnant at the time with their second child, had just landed at the airport from a trip to Barbados when he was taken into custody on two felony charges of assault with a firearm.
Jury selection in Rocky’s trial began on Jan. 21.
His attorney, Joe Tacopina, has asserted that Relli’s claims are baseless and an excuse to extort his famous client.
The “F**kin’ Problems” artist faces a maximum of 24 years in prison if convicted after turning down a final prosecution plea offer earlier this month.
Rocky had been offered to plead guilty to one of his two felony counts, for which he could face a seven-year suspended sentence, three years of probation and six months in jail, but he chose to reject the deal.
Tacopina claimed in court last week that the firearm his client was seen holding in video surveillance of the incident was actually a “starter pistol” that Rocky carried as a prop for security reasons.
