Her mother, Denise Fuoco, told TMZ she most recently spoke to DiDonato, 44, on a FaceTime call last week.

Fuoco said their conversation was “brief” and that her daughter “rushed off the phone” without disclosing her location.

Fuoco was unsure whether or not DiDonato was alone, but said that she looked “nervous and distressed” during their video chat.

Since their phone call, Fuoco told TMZ she’s been worried “sick” because DiDonato has not returned any of her phone calls.

That prompted her to reach out to authorities in Philadelphia, where DiDonato visited earlier this month before missing her Jan. 5 flight home.

According to Fuoco, she received an update on Monday from Ben who claimed DiDonato was in Las Vegas.

He claimed that DiDonato sounded “distressed” when she contacted him via WhatsApp and asked for money for a flight back to Florida.

Fuoco claimed Ben obliged DiDonato’s request and purchased her ticket home, however she did not board the plane.

Fuoco further told TMZ that her daughter has been “distant” for the past month.

DiDonato was seen celebrating on a night out in her last Instagram post, which was shared on Dec. 12, 2024.

“Not bad for 44 🥰 I love me some me,” she captioned a photo of herself wearing black sunglasses and a black crop top with mini shorts.

“44 sitting on 24’s still. 😫😂😂😂 (it’s not my bday…I’m just feelin myself, dropped 10 lbs…hit that goal weight) 🎯💪.”

DiDonato concluded her caption by sharing how proud she is to be in her 40s.

“Getting older is a blessing, can’t believe I made it this far,” she added. “I’m embracing my age because to me it’s a badge of honor to have made it to 44.”
