Long Island great-grandmother credits these three secrets to long life as she marks 100th birthday

That’s a lot of candles.

A very special Long Island gal celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this month in style — and shared her secrets to living a long, fulfilled life.

Josie Romano, a centenarian in Mount Sinai, was feted with a lavish soiree at the local Rose Caracappa Senior Center.

When asked about the essentials of living long and well, Romano — dressed in a dazzling blue suit with a tiara and sash for her special day — said it comes down to three things.

“I love to eat, and once in a while a little drink, when I feel good. That’s about it and I love to dance,” she said, according to Patch.

The super senior with a great palate was known to cook for the elderly in her younger years with the Sons of Italy.

She has also volunteered at the St. Anthony’s thrift store in Rocky Point since 1987, according to Town of Brookhaven Supervisor Dan Panico.

While Romano, a great-grandmother of 10, is enjoying her golden years on the north shore of LI, she was born and raised in Harlem and later in the Bronx.

Since then, she’s been a hit at the Suffolk County senior center and taught line dancing there until she was 95.

Romano was also the most lively person at her most recent birthday party.

She yukked it up with some celebrity impressions, marionette performances and even some tap dancing.
