Derrick Henry has come back to earth after an Offensive Player of the Year-worthy first half.
The star running back has had fewer than 83.5 rushing yards – his Over/Under at FanDuel Sportsbook for Saturday’s game in Baltimore – in four of his last five games.
He had gone Over that number in seven of his first nine games with the Ravens, including six straight in September and October.
And now, Henry is facing one of the toughest rush defenses in the NFL.
Steelers vs. Ravens odds
Teams | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Steelers | +6.5 (-115) | +235 | o44.5 (-110) |
Ravens | -6.5 (-105) | -290 | u44.5 (-110) |
The Steelers have allowed the fourth-fewest rushing yards per game (94.4) and fifth-fewest yards per attempt (4.0) this season.
Last time out against Pittsburgh a month ago, Henry managed just 65 yards on the ground in the 18-16 loss – his second-lowest total this season.
The Ravens have taken their foot off the gas when it comes to Henry in recent weeks, explaining some of his less-than-eye-popping numbers.
Henry has had the ball handed off to him less than 20 times in four of his last five games after tallying more than 20 rushing attempts in four of his first nine games with Baltimore.
He had just 67 rushing yards on 14 carries in last week’s blowout win over the Giants.

Henry has played in slightly less than half of the Ravens’ offensive snaps in two of the past four games after eight straight games of playing in 50 percent or more.
I hate to bet against King Henry, but this tough matchup isn’t coming at the right time.
The play: Derrick Henry Under 83.5 rushing yards (-110, FanDuel Sportsbook)
