Her name might be Daisy, but she is no wallflower.
The 2025 NYPD “Canine & Friends” calendar is out and May’s cover girl is one of the department’s newest bloodhounds.
“Daisy helps her police officer partners with explosive detection, firearms detection, search and rescue and missing persons,” New York City Police Foundation Director of Development and Events Taylor Kahn said of the book’s ninth edition.
Many of the pooches in the calendar are named after fallen cops, including K-9 Diller, whose namesake, Detective Jonathan Diller, was killed in a car stop by a repeat criminal in March.
Sales of the $35 calendar brought in nearly $60,000 last year, used to fund programs like CrimeStoppers.
