MLB’s cash-worshipping ways have led right to this overpriced Juan Soto era

It’s me, not you.

Or perhaps it’s both of us.

This Hot Stove League season has left me cold. Cold, as in it’s almost impossible to care. It’s not as if Juan Soto will share his Citi Field suite with us, not unless he and Scott Boras sell the seats in a lottery or 50-50 raffles.

The Soto Sweepstakes left us all diminished. Made me wonder who Fox outbid $375 million to nail down Tom Brady.
