New Mets superstar Juan Soto celebrated his massive $765 million contract with his brother.
In a video posted on social media by Elian Soto, the superstar slugger can be seen in a hot tub screaming and shouting in celebration over the deal.
Soto is standing in the hot tub looking at his phone before an unknown person just off camera can be heard happily shouting and spraying a beer on Soto as they celebrate.
Soto could be seen lifting his arms victoriously as the beer was poured over his head and someone, possibly his brother, said, “You earned it.”
A caption that accompanied the video read: “GOT HIS ASS. METS BABYYYYY.”
The slugger has been one of the best hitters in baseball since 2018 and now heads to Queens to bolster a Mets squad that made a surprise run to the National League Championship Series, where they pushed the eventual champion Dodgers to six games.
Soto is coming off a season where he helped the Yankees reach the World Series.
The Yankees fell in five games to the same Dodgers in the World Series — after Soto lifted them past the Guardians in Game 5 of the ALCS with a clutch home run.
Soto had recorded a .989 OPS and hit a career-best 41 home runs during his lone seasons with the Yankees.

In 64 postseason playoff plate appearances, Soto slashed .327/.469/.633 and posted a 1.101 OPS with four home runs and nine RBIs.
The question of where Soto was heading began as soon as the Dodgers recorded the final out of the World Series against the Yankees and Soto seemed like a man willing to listen to outside offers.
“I feel every team has the same opportunity,” Soto told reporters at the time. “I don’t want to say anybody has an advantage.”
He added later: “I don’t know all the teams that are after me, but I’m definitely open to listen. I don’t have any doors closed. I’m available to all 30 teams.”
