Ludacris’ performance shut down by fire marshal at Nylon’s star-studded Art Week bash

Ludacris’ performance at the Nylon and Movado bash in Miami was so lit, the fire marshal shut him down.

The exclusive party, held at “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lenny Hochstein’s Star Island mansion, saw a heavy police presence due to new Art Week regulations requiring large-scale parties at private homes to follow strict occupancy limits and noise restrictions.

But that didn’t kill the vibe at the over-the-top bash where Ludacris performed favorites like “Area Codes” and “What’s Your Fantasy” during a raucous performance.

A-listers like “Havana” singer Camila Cabello, Janelle Monae and DJ John Summit were present at the event.

After thirty minutes of hits, a fire marshal took the stage to halt the set.

It is the famous rapper’s first time in the city for Art Basel and he had some advice for would-be collectors: get the houses; then, decorate them.

“I just started collecting art,” he told Page Six exclusively.

“I wanted to focus on it after focusing on real estate. You have to buy all the houses first before you get the art for them.”

“I love all the creative energy that comes to the city,” Ludacris — donning a custom $50,000 diamond Movado watch — told us of being in town during the high-profile event. “I don’t love the traffic, but I love all the creatives and all the art.”

While regular partygoers got caught in upwards of an hour’s worth of traffic to get to the party, with many walking across the bridge to the exclusive island, Ludacris planned in advance.

“We took the water,” he told us. “It took us ten minutes. We were smart. We thought ahead.”

A source tells us organizers were delighted that — in a week where traffic has pushed back schedules and waits for Ubers are around a half an hour — he wasn’t just punctual, but made it there early.

“The O.C.” star Misha Barton also attended.

Mischa Barton, Tinx, Dale Moss and “Food God” Jonathan Cheban were also spotted at the party.

Hochstein, who recently finalized his divorce from “RHOM” star Lisa Hochstein — watched the festivities from a balcony above the stage, where he was seen grinding on his ex-fianceé Katharina Mazepa.

They’ve been seen “all over each other” at multiple Art Basel parties this week.
