Paulina Gretzky certainly knows how to leave her fans in suspense.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the wife of LIV Golf star Dustin Johnson revealed she’s working on a new project and tagged country singer and songwriter Tyler Reeve in the curious post.
Captioning the shot from what appeared to be an office for Spirit Music, whose roster of artists and writers boasts Reeve, Gretzky told her one million followers: “Can’t wait to share what I’ve been up to @tylerreeve.”
A separate post features Gretzky, the daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, posing with Reeve, musician Chris Young and songwriter Trannie S. Anderson.
Though it’s unclear what the project is, Gretzky, 35, is no stranger to singing and performing.
As a teenager, Gretzky performed a rendition of Sarah McLachlan’s ballad, “I Will Remember You,” for a Heritage Classic hockey game in Edmonton, Canada.
“It was so cold — negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit with windchill — that she sat with [her mom] Janet in the car, only getting out to sing,” dad Wayne recalled to Palm Beach Illustrated in a November 2023 profile.
“She was nervous because she didn’t want to let anyone down, but Janet was her rock, telling her, ‘You can do this.’”
Gretzky, who has also dabbled in modeling and acting, teased a new chapter in a 2023 interview with Kind Magazine.
“There’s no start and end to me, if I want to start now, I can,” she said in the magazine’s Fall 2023 Health and Wellness issue. “You get to a point where you’re hard on yourself and you shouldn’t be — we’re the only ones who put limits on ourselves and I think now’s the time for my new chapter — not a new me, but a me that’s evolving.”
Gretzky has been a staple on the golf circuit over the last several years, supporting Johnson, 40, at various tournaments for both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, where he defected to in 2022.
She famously celebrated Johnson’s 2020 Masters win at Augusta National in November of that year, with the couple sealing the victory with a kiss on the course.
“Honey, i’m forever & always your biggest fan. so proud of you,” Gretzky gushed on Instagram at the time.
Johnson, who was paid around a reported $125 million to jump to the Saudi-backed LIV tour, won more than $35 million in the circuit’s inaugural season.
He and Gretzky have been married since 2022 and are parents to two sons.
