Three suspects charged after truck fled Saskatoon police

A man and two women face around 20 charges after evading police on Monday night.

A man and two women face around 20 charges after a truck fled a city police traffic stop on Monday night.

After a brief pursuit, other officers spotted the truck in a driveway in the 800 block of Third Street East.

When a police vehicle pulled in behind it, the driver rammed the cruiser, then tried to flee on foot, the release said.

No one was injured.

Officers arrested the driver, a 23-year-old man, and two female passengers aged 27 and 29.

“The vehicle was determined to be stolen and a search of it resulted in a loaded, sawed-off shotgun being located,” the release stated.
