It’s Thanksgiving weekend down south, so that means afternoon hockey for the Montreal Canadiens, starting Saturday against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Note the early puck drop at 1 p.m. (TSN2, RDS, TSN Radio 690, 98.5 FM).

Patrik Laine accompanied the team on their three-game road trip but will not suit up Saturday. Mike Matheson missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, and he might rejoin the lineup.
