President-elect Donald Trump has promised to order sweeping 25% tariffs on all products from Mexico and Canada on Day 1 of his second term, saying Monday “it is time for them to pay a very big price!”
Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum reacted to the news Tuesday, saying her country would reciprocate and charge the US a similar tax to import any goods into Mexico.
