Princess Diana fans discover William, George, and Charlotte inherited the ‘Spencer Stare’

Royal family fanatics are floored after spotting a signature facial expression of Princess Diana on the faces of her son and the grandchildren she never got to meet.

The shared look has been dubbed the ‘Spencer Stare’ by the late princess’ devoted followers. The telltale stare coupled with her usual dignified expression was a common look captured by photographers.

Prince William was first noted sharing the expression at his mother’s funeral when he was just 15 years old.

The likeness between the mother-son duo has only become more apparent over the years, but now eagle-eyed fans are noticing the similarities have passed on to the prince’s children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George.

Videos of Charlotte at the coronation for King Charles III and Queen Camilla have been circulating social media as people highlight the princess’ striking resemblance to her grandmother.

“The little princess looks so much like her grandmother Diana, beautiful as ever,” one user commented.

Her older brother hasn’t escaped the comparisons either.

Prince George, who is practically a copy of his father during his youth, was sporting the same stare at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022 and again at the coronation like his younger sister.

Princess Diana’s signature stare was best seen on the world’s stage during her interview with Martin Bashir in 1995 where she first divulged the reality of her tortured marriage with Charles.

She wore a stone-cold expression throughout, never letting her emotions slip as she laid out only a fraction of the Royal Family’s dirty laundry.

Her stare, however, only surfaced when Bashir asked her about her future as the potential Queen of England.

“No. I’d like to be the queen of people’s hearts. But I don’t see myself being queen of this country,” Diana had said during the interview.
