Woman, 32, dead after jumping out of Uber on LIE in Queens Saturday

A 32-year-old woman was hit and killed on the Long Island Expressway in Queens after she apparently jumped out of a moving Uber, police said.

The woman fell from the back seat of a gray Volkswagen Passat around 1:30 a.m. near the Kissena Boulevard exit in Flushing and was hit by another driver also traveling eastbound who struck her left leg, cops said.

It is unclear why the passenger, whose name has not been released pending family notification, leapt from the vehicle, and if she was hit by other cars.

Police said the driver hit the unidentified woman “unknowingly,” yet they are still seeking the person for the hit-and-run.
