Santa of the future? AI predicts what Father Christmas could look like in 2050

Oh, the Claus are coming out this Christmas — and it’s all thanks to AI.

The gift that keeps on giving, artificial intelligence has forever changed the way we shop, sleep, sex and socialize. Now, the transformative technology is changing up Santa’s once-signature look for Christmases to come.

And his new bag comes with a shocking all-inclusive slant.

“Utilizing our AI image generator, we’ve had an incredible opportunity to reimagine Santa in new and creative ways,” said Paula Vivas, head of marketing at FreePik, a visual assets platform, in a release, “exploring how he might look as times change and traditions evolve.”

And in just a few short years, he could be a she, according to the extremely woke prediction tool.

“This inclusive reimagining of Santa not only celebrates the diversity of our world,” the experts wrote, “but also shows how beloved figures can evolve alongside society’s progress.”

The big guy’s eye-popping AI makeover is eerily similar to that of the “absurdly woke” images produced by Google’s controversial Gemini chatbot earlier this year.

The search giant disabled Gemini’s ability to create pictures of humans in late February, after it dreamed up bizarre ahistorical photos such as Black Vikings and “diverse” Nazi-era German soldiers

But it’s true, time-tested Yuletide traditions are going up in Yule log flames due to scientific societal shifts.

Rather than simply writing out Christmas gift wish lists and desperately hoping Santa responds accordingly — a treasured act performed by the kids of yore — children of Gen Alpha, little ones under age 14, can now receive AI-enabled phone calls from Kris Kringle himself.

“Watch children’s faces light up as Santa knows their name, wishes, and favorite things in a one-on-one conversation they’ll never forget,” touts SantaPhoneCalls.com on its site.

For $9.95, children can receive a one-time call from Santa. But for a more chummy experience — and an upgrade payment of $14.95 — kids can chat with him for five minutes and receive a recording to “relive the magic and cherished memories of this moment for years to come.”

Convos with to computer-Claus don’t come cheap.

His high fees notwithstanding, some not-so-merry moms are nixing Saint Nick altogether.

“Telling kids that Santa is real is a lie, and I don’t believe in building my kids up on a lie,” Sierra McKenzie, a Gen Z mommy of three toddlers, previously told The Post. Your kids can still enjoy the magic of Christmas without believing in Santa.”

But parents who plan to keep the belief in Father (or Mother) Christmas alive in the coming decades will likely have to adjust to his avant-garde adjustments.

Here’s how AI foresees Santa from the 2020s through the 2050s.

Jingle bells for diversity

“The 2020s have brought a renewed focus on diversity, and even Santa is embracing the spirit of change,” says FreePik pros. “AI has reimagined Santa for this decade as a sharp, stylish Black man, exuding confidence and charm with an updated red suit and a warm smile.”

“This Santa embodies both the tradition and the contemporary flair of a new era.”

The future is female, according to AI.

“Looking ahead to the 2030s, AI envisions Santa as a tech-savvy Black woman, merging the magic of the season with forward-thinking innovation,” said FreePik experts.

But the lady Santa Claus of the 2023s likely won’t have a belly full of jelly, nor will she be lugging sacks of toys down dirty chimneys all night long.

Instead, owing to her knack for technology, it’s safe to assume her haute highness will be e-gifting tikes their goodies from a laptop in her cozy North Pole condo.

He, she, they — sleigh!

A non-binary Santa is sure to be making the holidays merry and bright throughout the 2040s, so says AI. Freepik

“In the 2040s, Santa steps into a role of inclusivity and representation like never before,” FreePik insiders revealed.

“AI imagined Santa as non-binary, showing a Santa that belongs to everyone and embodies the warmth of the season with a new, inclusive look,” the authorities added. “They bring a universal spirit of joy and kindness, proving that holiday traditions can evolve to celebrate every identity.”

It’s beginning to look a bot like Christmas

“Fast-forward to the 2050s, and Santa’s had a high-tech upgrade,” said FreePik forecasters. “AI imagined Santa as a fully futuristic robot, blending holiday magic with advanced technology.”

“Our 2050s Santa may be made of circuits and chrome, but his spirit is just as joyful as ever — ready to spread holiday cheer in a new age of innovation.”
