Donald Trump Jr. mocks ‘Morning Joe’ co-hosts visiting his dad to make amends after previously comparing him to Hitler

Donald Trump Jr. has mocked MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for meeting his dad, President-elect Donald Trump, so soon after suggesting he was the new Adolf Hitler.

Don Jr. joined those accusing the “Morning Joe” duo of hypocrisy when Newsmax’s Rob Finnerty pointed out on Thursday that “two weeks ago, they were calling him Hitler, and now they’re traveling to Florida to meet with Hitler.”

“Yeah, it’s hard to believe,” Don Jr. replied. “I mean, I wouldn’t go and meet with Hitler, but that’s just me. Maybe it was all nonsense all along.”

Newsmax’s Rob Finnerty asked Don. Jr why his father chose to meet the “Morning Joe” co-hosts after they previously compared him to Hitler.

He praised his father for meeting with the TV hosts, saying that his willingness to hear from his fiercest critics showed his eagerness to represent everyone.

“My father always wants to hear from everyone. He’s not just leading MAGA America, but America for all Americans,” he said.

Don Jr. suggested that while MSNBC has become more of a propaganda outlet than a news organization, his father’s magnanimous approach to leadership remained consistent.

Scarborough and Brzezinski have faced widespread criticism and mockery for meeting with the president-elect after clearly realizing they were on the losing side.

Even “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart was among those laughing at their hypocrisy.

In response to a clip of Brzezinski asking her critics, “Why wouldn’t we” speak to Trump, Stewart replied, “Uh, because you said he was Hitler,” during a Monday night segment.

Don Jr’s remarks were a direct swipe at the media network, “It would be nice to bring some common sense back to Washington,” he said.
