Montreal weather: It might rain on your parade

Rain that sputtered throughout Thursday will continue all day Friday and threatens to put a damper on Saturday’s Santa Claus Parade.

Were you hoping the skies would rain themselves out by the weekend? Sorry, you’ll be mostly disappointed.

Rain that sputtered throughout Thursday will continue all day Friday and threatens to put a damper on Saturday’s Santa Claus Parade.

Organizers of the parade want everyone to wear red to the event — if you have red galoshes, you’re all set (though, to be fair, there is only a 40 per cent chance of rain on Saturday). The parade route will run east on René-Lévesque Blvd. starting at Bishop St. at 11 a.m. and ending at St-Urbain St.

Expect a high of 6 C Friday, with rain and wind gusts. At night, a low of 4 C.
