Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back in play.

Netflix dropped the first look at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s newest Netflix docuseries “Polo” on Thursday.

The 5-episode project, which releases on Dec. 10, is produced by Archewell Productions, the couple’s production company, and Boardwalk Pictures. Both Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, are executive producers on the show.

“This series offers audiences an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look into the passion and determination driving some of the world’s elite polo players, revealing the grit behind the glamour,” Prince Harry shared. “We’re proud to showcase the true depth and spirit of the sport — and the intensity of its high-stakes moments.”

The series trailer noted of playing Polo, “Imagine going on a horse at 35 miles an hour as someone is coming at you full speed.”

A voiceover added, “It’s the adrenaline that goes through your body — it’s addicting.”

“Polo is not just a sport,” a second voice is heard saying as scenes of the men working out and training grace the screen. “Polo is a lifestyle. We eat, we breathe, we sleep polo.”

The trailer shows both the professional and personal lives of the series’ featured athletes, as polo is called “a sexy sport, too — dirty, sweaty boys riding.”

At the end of the clip, which also features flashy cars, a polo cup and the men gearing up for the field, the words “For legacy. For courage. For glory” appear on screen.

“Through fierce rivalries and intense training, viewers will get an unprecedented glimpse into the dedication and skill required to compete at the sport’s highest level,” Netflix revealed of the show. “From a young player pushed to his limits by his demanding father, to a former golfer who’s made significant sacrifices for the love of the sport, to the father-son duo widely regarded as the greatest players of all time – they all face intense personal and professional challenges as they vie for the coveted title.”

Polo players featured in the show include Nacho Figueras, a longtime friend of Harry. The renowned athlete is from Argentina and stars as a polo expert and consulting producer on the show.

“Prince Harry and I have talked about polo for years. The production company is incredible, and Netflix has a huge platform to reach the biggest hearts in the world. I am happy to be involved and think this is a great opportunity for the sport,” Figueras told People in April.

Also in the show is Adolfo Cambiaso of Team Valiente, who is “widely regarded as one of the greatest polo players of all time,” per the streaming platform. He is known as one half of the father-son duo with his 17-year-old teen Poroto Cambiaso of Team La Dolfina. The pair faced off against one another in the 2024 US Open — which marked their first high-goal final against each other in America.

“I want to win against my dad so I can say I beat the greatest in the sport,” Cambiaso confessed to the camera as his dad said, “I am very proud of my son. I tried to beat him.”

Louis Devaleix of Team La Fe — who began his polo career 2020 at 38 years old — is also a key player in series, alongside his marriage to US Open champion polo player Pamela Flanagan Devaleix.

The couple is expecting their first child together throughout the series as seen in the trailer.

“I think it’s healthy to have somewhat of a personal life outside of being an athlete,” revealed Timmy Dutta of Team Dutta Corp.

“Timmy is extremely charming and his looks are what they are,” his dad Big Tim Dutta, and team owner, said as scenes of running his hands through his hair and flirting with girls flash on screen. “It’s distracting.”

As the family navigates Big Tim being the team owner and coach at times, Timmy’s mom explained, “I don’t like to hear him criticize Timmy.”

Keko Magrini of Team Coca-Cola also joins Poroto and Timmy in representing “the new generation of the sport,” according to Netflix, “bringing sharper skills and more fearless risk-taking to each match.”
