Longueuil police believe more victims are connected with pimping suspect

The suspect faces charges including sexual assault and pimping involving minors.

Longueuil police have turned to the public in an effort to determine whether a 28-year-old man suspected of sexual assault and the pimping of minors had other victims.

Psichary Vancol, a resident of Longueuil, was arrested Nov. 19 in connection with sexual offences committed against a minor in 2021.

Investigators say they have reason to believe the suspect committed similar offences against other victims, alleging he used social media to meet them.

The suspect faces charges of sexual assault, pimping involving minors, advertising sexual services, intimidation, profiting from sexual exploitation and extortion.

Anyone with any information that could further the investigation or who believes they were a victim of the suspect is urged to call Longueuil police at 450-463-7192.

All calls will be treated confidentially and the Longueuil police sexual exploitation unit offers followup, assistance and support to victims and those close to them whether they file a complaint or not.
