California mayor rips Gov. Newsom’s sanctuary policies after yet another illegal-migrant boat lands in his town: ‘Get your act together’

The mayor of Newport Beach in California is blasting Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and other lefty state pols over yet another boatload of illegal migrants who just washed onto the shores of his town.

“Get your act together,” fumed Mayor Matt O’Neill in a fiery interview with Fox 11 on Saturday — after the Coast Guard nabbed 21 migrants in a fishing boat off the beach Thursday night. “You cannot continue to treat every city in California like a border city.”

The migrants were identified as two Uzbeki nationals and one Russian in addition to 18 Mexicans, the outlet reported.

“There is no way that you intend on trying to protect Uzbeki nationals coming in from our southern border,” O’Neill said, referring to Newsom and state officials.

The incident was at least the third recorded boatload of illegal migrants who washed into Newport Beach so far this year, Fox 11 said.

O’Neill lambasted the Democrats’ sanctuary policies that have encouraged unchecked waves of migrants in California and across the country.

In April, a video showed more than 20 migrants casually docking in the local harbor and scattering into the town.

In January, Homeland Security nabbed another gang of migrants trying to enter Newport Beach by boat.

O’Niell said he has had enough.

“Figure this out, because we are having real problems affecting real people in your cities all across California,” the mayor said.

President-elect Donald Trump made the issue a key element of his campaign, helping to catapult him back into the White house.
