Jared Kushner and wife Ivanka Trump famously sat out her father’s campaign. But we hear that the soon-to-be First Son-in-Law will once again be front and center on Middle East issues — although sources say he won’t be in an official White House role.

He and Ivanka, who live in Miami, won’t be moving to D.C. either, we hear.

Another source notes that Kushner gets along well with real estate investor Steve Witkoff, who Trump just named as Special Envoy to the Middle East.

“Jared is fully available to brief and advise all of those who will be working on issues related to the Middle East, as he believes amazing progress is possible under President Trump’s leadership,” says a source.

Eyebrows have been raised in the past over Kushner’s financial ties to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, whose sovereign wealth fund invested $2 billion in Kushner’s private equity fund.

CNN was first to report the news that Kushner would be involved somehow in Middle East issues, speaking with diplomats about how they feel about the former White House advisor.

“No one on the incoming team has what Jared has, and that is trust. Jared earned it, he didn’t have it at the beginning. He earned it. That takes time to build,” one regional diplomat said.

An Israeli source told the site, “Friendships are forever in this region.”

During Kushner helped broker the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and a number of Arab nations, during Trump’s first term.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has been picked as the next ambassador to Israel.
