The final of Big Brother 2024 is upon us, with fans placing their bets for who will walk away with that mega cash prize.

Later tonight, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will crown our champion, but will it be Ali Bromley, Marcello Spooks, Segun Shodipo, Hanah Haji, Nathan King, or Emma Morgan?

Well, if the betting odds are any indication, viewers have a clear favourite.

Forensic psychologist Ali, 38, has been outlined as a front-runner in the latest odds, suggesting she’s not only on the cusp of a life-changing sum of money entering her bank account, but also making Big Brother history.

Should Ali leave the famous compound victorious, she would enter the BB Hall of Fame as its first lesbian winner, as well as the oldest-ever female winner.

Ali’s odds currently sit at 1/3, according to BoyleSports.

Following behind her in second place is Marcello at 4/1 while, of the remaining housemates, Segun is the least likely to win, as his chances are currently listed at 40/1.

Meanwhile, Emma – the oldest housemate of the series at age 53 – has odds of 15/2, while Hanah sits at 11/1.

Finally, Nathan, who found romance this series with Rosie Williams, has odds of 18/1.

A spokesperson for BoyleSports shares that, as we approach the final night, Marcello seems to be Ali’s ‘only real danger to her chances of success’.

Alas, it looks like Segun could be the first one out in sixth place, as he’s the ‘least likely victor’.

Over the last six weeks, BB fanatics have flooded social media with memes galore as action has unfolded inside the house.

Audiences have also expressed their rage over shock evictions, like that of Lily Benson, and confusing production twists, such as Big Brother’s Vault, which sent three housemates out the backdoor.

But this week, it’s all been winner chat, as X users have fought for their favourite housemates to secure those all-important votes.

And it seems the tweets support the betting stats, with thousands declaring their love for Ali after a rollercoaster of a journey for the ‘Red Witch.’

X user lukelipa wrote ahead of the final: ‘i want ali to win this so bad, it’s literally felt like everyone against ali the entire season to the point where it’s hard it watch. i can’t wait for her to leave and see how loved she truly is.’

RyanS_UK added passionately: ‘I don’t what i’ll do if Ali doesn’t walk out as winner. It will either be the best day of my life tomorrow or the worst.’

It’s been far from smooth sailing for Ali inside the house, as she’s endured plenty of drama and found herself at the centre of hot debates.

She lost her close pals one by one to evictions, had her pro-Palestine t-shirt edited out of the main show and confiscated by producers, and wound up in feuds with several of her fellow housemates.

It’s been a heated season for everyone though, to say the least, as warnings for racial jokes were dished out, while finalist Marcello has also been accused of homophobic behaviour.

Big Brother final betting odds

Ali Bromley: 1/3

Marcello Spooks: 4/1

Emma Morgan: 15/2

Hanah Haji: 11/1

Nathan King: 18/1

Segun Shodipo: 40/1

To top it all off, they can’t even leave the drama inside the walls of the ITV house, as the remaining housemates have plenty of world news to catch up on upon their exits, from the shock death of Liam Payne to Donald Trump’s election win.

One thing’s for certain, and it’s that this series will never be forgotten, having consistently pulled in hundreds of thousands of viewers each night, resulting in Big Brother being renewed for a third civilian series in 2025.

It’ll be extra special too, as next year marks 25 years since the beloved social experiment first aired in the UK.

Adding to the celebrations, there will also be a second helping in the form of the all-star version, Celebrity Big Brother, which saw David Potts storm to success back in spring.

So, who will join David and 2023 civilian champ Jordan Sangha in the exclusive winners’ club? The free vote via the Big Brother app closes tonight, so be sure to have your say…
