The PQ executive committee also attributes several breaches to Boulay concerning the party’s communication policy as well as having contravened several articles of the party’s code of ethics.
A member of the Parti Québécois political committee is being threatened with expulsion.
In a confidential letter dated Nov. 1, a copy of which was obtained by Presse Canadienne, the PQ national secretary criticizes Vincent Boulay for having transmitted confidential party information to a radio broadcaster.
The PQ executive committee also attributes several breaches to Boulay concerning the party’s communication policy as well as having contravened several articles of the PQ code of ethics, particularly his “communications on social media.”
The letter gives Boulay until Monday at 9 p.m. to present his perspective in writing to the PQ executive committee or to present it orally during a 30-minute virtual meeting on Sunday.
