The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw has been made with some blockbuster ties including Tottenham hosting Manchester United.

It is an all-Premier League draw for the first time in 14 years after Preston were beaten by Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The Gunners’ reward is a home tie against Crystal Palace, while Southampton host Liverpool and Newcastle take on Brentford at St James’ Park.

The last 16 came to a conclusion on Wednesday evening, with the standout result being a 2-1 victory for Spurs over Manchester City.

Manchester United also scored a notable win under interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy as they hammered Leicester City 5-2.

Newcastle picked up an impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea while Liverpool continued their good early-season form by winning 3-2 at Brighton.

On Tuesday night the first two teams booked their spots in the quarter-final draw as Southampton got the better of Stoke City and Brentford edged Sheffield Wednesday on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
