Joe Rogan to interview JD Vance after Kamala Harris refused to meet him in Austin studio

Joe Rogan is slated to interview former President Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, on Wednesday — after their opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, has so far missed out by refusing to meet the mega-popular podcaster in his Texas studio.

The Republican vice presidential nominee is scheduled to meet with Rogan in his studio in Austin on Wednesday morning — days after Trump’s appearance on the “The Joe Rogan Experience” exploded online, with well over 39 million views on YouTube, despite accusations it was being hidden.

Vance’s appearance comes after Rogan revealed he turned down a similar chat with Harris after the Democratic presidential nominee wanted him to travel to her, and for their chat to last just a third of the three hours he had with Trump.

“They offered a date … but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour,” Rogan said Tuesday, adding that the Harris campaign “has not passed on doing the podcast.”

“I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin.

“My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen,” he added.

During his gabfest with the podcaster, Trump had insisted his rival wouldn’t be capable of a three-hour interview, insisting “it would be a mess.”

“Can you imagine Kamala doing this show? She’s be laying on the floor” Trump said.

“If she did this kind of an interview with you, I hope she does, because it would be a mess. She’d be laying on the floor. Comatose. She’d be saying, ‘Call in the medics’.”

In addition to going wildly viral, the former commander-in-chief’s podcast episode made headlines after fans started accusing YouTube of trying to censor the clip when it failed to come up using basic search terms.

“For some searches on Monday the original 3-hour interview didn’t appear prominently. Short excerpts uploaded by the Joe Rogan channel appeared, but we know it was frustrating for users looking to find the full video,” YouTube said in a statement in a post on X.

“We’ve worked to resolve this and viewers will begin seeing the full podcast in more YouTube search results soon.”

Rogan later posted the full clip on his X profile with the video racking up 14.7 million views in roughly 24 hours.
