Doe, no! Deer keep getting their heads stuck in plastic Halloween pumpkin buckets in Ohio neighborhood

Oh, deer!

A bunch of wild deer fawning over Halloween decorations are getting their heads trapped in plastic jack-o’-lantern treat buckets in an Ohio neighborhood, waggish photos show.

The Westlake Police Department shared photos of a few deer with their faces stuck in the decorative pumpkins, urging the public to remove any potentially hazardous décor from their yards that could “wrap around the deer’s head.”

“WPD has responded to several calls of deer with plastic decorative pumpkins stuck on their faces over the last few days,” the department said in a Facebook post Monday.

“These are pics taken by our officers as they tried to get close enough to the wildlife to give them a hand. Yes, we respond to all calls where a WPD employee may be able to help the community.”
