“He’s got this ability to just keep going,” Rogan told guests Eddie Bravo, Bryan Callen and Brendan Schaub during the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience.

“This is what’s crazy, like the podcast was three hours long,” he continued in amazement. “The guy didn’t pee before the podcast. He didn’t pee after the podcast. He just left.”

Rogan denied that he felt any pressure to perform a certain way, saying he was more “excited” and “hyped up,” but admitted he prepared for the conversation ahead of time.

The podcast host noted how Trump would flip the conversation, and they would end up on another topic.

“He’s real good at — you ask him a question, and he starts to answer it, but then he takes you on a totally different route,” Rogan observed.

“But you got to bring him back in, but you got to be respectful.”

Rogan had previously made it known that one of the questions he wanted answered was how Trump felt being in the White House for the first time, after winning the 2016 election — but the former president remained mum.

“I want to know what that first f—— day is like, and I don’t really think I got that answer out of him.”

Rogan also revealed how impressed he was by Trump’s sense of humour.

“The problem with the Trump stuff is just that the people look at the inflammatory things he says, the crazy s—, and they define him by that,” Rogan said.

“You also have to remember, this is a very bizarre combination of an entertainer and a businessman,” he added.

“He’s like a comedian, man. He says funny s—. My point is people don’t know what to do with that, and they want to pretend that all these other people are somehow morally better because you don’t see the real them.”

Rogan also described him as a “businessman, bottom line,” adding, “He likes making deals. That’s what it is. That’s his whole thing.”

Rogan later noted that their three-hour exchange on Friday was the first real conversation they had ever had, and he was impressed that the former POTUS neither needed to take a break to use the bathroom nor have a drink of water.

“He just sat here, and we talked,” Rogan said, adding that Trump’s team was “freaking out” because the interview was going long and cutting into Trump’s busy schedule.

“He didn’t give a f—,” Rogan said. “He was like, ‘I know this is going to be bigger than that.’”
