Flavoured gin fans will be buzzing to know the UK’s best now has a new flavour.
Aldi’s Haysmith’s flavoured gins have been named the best in the UK for the last two years.
At the prestigious World Gin Awards 2024, it was the Seville Orange & Persian Lime Gin flavour that took gold, with Rhubarb & Ginger snagging first place in 2023.
Now, the budget supermarket has brought out a new flavour: Roasted Pineapple.
Costing just £16.99 for 70cl, Aldi’s flavoured gin continues to be a customer favourite, proving that high-quality alcohol doesn’t need to cost the earth.
And with roasted pineapple trending on TikTok in the foodie world, reaching 74 million views on the app, we’re sure the newest flavour will go down a treat.
As well as juicy pineapple, the gin also has notes of ‘toasted marshmallow’ and ‘gentle juniper’.
According to the supermarket, it’s best served with a premium tonic or in a cocktail. Fancy.
You could try a pineapple Tom Collins, combining the flavoured gin with pineapple juice, tonic and some fruit garnishes.
Or, if you’re still living in summer, whack the blender out for a pineapple gin daiquiri.
The budget supermarket is also returning favourites Haysmith’s Pink Grapefruit Gin and Haysmith’s Blood Orange Gin, which we think would work great as a spritz.
They also have it in Seville Orange & Persian Lime, Rhubarb & Ginger, Raspberry & Redcurrant Pink Gin and Hand Steeped Sloe Gin, all for £14.99 each.
