Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions
This charge:
We say: Sorry, Brian, but the left did lose its mind over Trump’s Mickey D’s photo-op: MSNBC trashed it as “bizarre,” questioned his mental health and slammed his french-fry salting.
The New York Times ran endless stories, even blasting his attire.
The Atlantic’s David Frum helpfully clarified that Trump “didn’t ‘work’ at McDonald’s. He posed.”
Memo to the left: Trump was not actually embarking on a new, fast-food career. He was: Staging. A. Photo-op. Lefties should order a McFlurry and chill out.
This excuse:
“I speak honestly.” — Tim Walz, Monday
We say: Asked to explain his numerous falsehoods — such as that he was in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square protests or that he carried weapons of war in “war” — Walz gave one of his signature knucklehead excuses: He speaks “honestly.”
When a Democrat tells a lie, you see, he’s speaking “honestly.” Get it? We don’t either.
This comment:
“We gotta lock him up.” — President Biden, Tuesday
We say:President Biden accidentally revealed the Democrats’ deepest wish: to jail their nemesis, Donald Trump.
True, Biden soon tried to backtrack by adding “politically, lock him up.”
But Democrats have pursued four criminal cases against the ex-prez, including scores of bogus charges.
Their goal’s clear: They want to deny voters a chance to pick someone other than one of them. To save democracy, you know.
This observation:
“There needs to be a legal process for [immigration].” — Kamala Harris, Wednesday
We say: It’s the understatement of the year. And winner for hypocrisy, too: Border czar Harris let in millions of migrants illegally, dispensing with any “legal process” whatsoever.
Now that voters are furious over the results, she’s calling for a legal process? Please. She has no plan for that. If she’s president, nothing will change.
