Glastonbury rumours continue to bubble as fans speculate over those all-important headliners and one 90s icon has a very suspicious tour gap.
Alanis Morissette, 50, has announced her UK and Europe tour for 2025, with dates across March, June, and July.
She has gigs booked in cities like Cardiff, Glasgow, Amsterdam, and Barcelona but there is a huge gap in her tour schedule, right across Glastonbury weekend.
The historic festival is set to take place at Worthy Farm on Wednesday, June 25, running until Sunday, June 29.
Alanis is in Amsterdam on June 25 but does not have another concert until Dublin on Sunday, leaving Glastonbury slots on Friday and Saturday wide open.
This does, however, rule her out from the coveted Legends slot on Sunday, filled by Shania Twain in 2024 and Yusef, formerly Cat Stevens, the year before.
The Ironic hitmaker revealed her tour on Instagram, specifying these were ‘non-headlining’ dates and promised more dates were coming soon.
She wrote: ‘Super excited to share that I’m heading to South America this coming spring and Europe next summer to play a handful of shows and festivals 🎤🌍absolutely cannot wait to connect with all of you ✨✨
‘Pre-sale for my non-festival headline dates begins tomorrow, 22/10 @ 9am local in Europe and @ 10am local in South America – sign up to my mailing list at the link in bio by tonight @ 10pm CEST/9pm BST to get the code.’
Alanis added that general sale starts Friday, October 25 at 9am BST before teasing that ‘more international dates’ were ‘coming soon’.
She will perform at Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 29 before heading to Belfast’s Ormeau Park the next day.
The You Oughta Know hitmaker will then head to Cardiff, Lancashire, and Glasgow- notably, there are no gigs in big cities like London, Manchester, or Birmingham currently announced.
Alanis’ winky-face emoji sent fans into a frenzy as they clocked the Glastonbury-sized gap and her festival hints.
On X, user BristolJen wrote: ‘I would love to see her there but I hope they know she needs the Pyramid stage!’
Brett Redmayne added: ‘She has never played Glastonbury which is crazy, still has one of the top 10 biggest albums of all time.’
‘Dream headliner for me,’ shared Georgie KB as Lilymaescloset said: ‘I’m soo hoping for this!!!!! Well firstly so hoping I actually get a ticket!’
Nothing is confirmed but after Oasis put to bed any rumours of them stepping onto the Pyramid Stage, speculation has been rife.
Glastonbury 2025 is set to be a big one, especially as organiser Emily Eavis confirmed the following year would be a fallow year for the ground to recover.
Alanis has promised she has more to come so fans will just have to wait and see what this superstar thinks we ‘oughta know’.
