Fourth time’s the charm.
Britney Spears says that she got married again — this time to herself — in an Instagram post that she shared on Sunday.
“The day I married myself… Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!” the 42-year-old singer wrote in her caption.
In the video, Spears posed in front of the camera while wearing a white dress and a veil to look like a bride.
She also rocked a pair of black heels and wore her signature blonde hair down in waves.
Spears’ self-love clip was played to the song “Fields of Gold” by Sting.
The Grammy Award winner has been married three times. Her first marriage, which was to childhood friend Jason Alexander, was annulled after just 55 hours.
She was then married to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. The exes share sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18, who live in Hawaii with their dad.
In June 2022, Spears tied the knot with fitness trainer Sam Asghari, 30, after six years of dating. They married at their Thousand Oaks home, with star-studded attendees including Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore and Donatella Versace.
Spears later split from Asghari in 2023 and they finalized their divorce in May.
“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked,” the pop star wrote on Instagram in Aug. 2023 after news broke of the couple’s separation.
“I’m not here to explain why because it’s honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!” Spears continued, adding that she’s “been playing it strong for way too long.”
Spears also said at the time that her Instagram shows a life that is “far from reality.”
Since last year, Spears has been in on-and-off relationship with her former housekeeper, Paul Richard Soliz.
The pair made headlines in May when they got into a fight at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, which led to an ambulance arriving at the scene.
Spears later denied that she fought with Soliz, 37, and claimed the paramedics came to the hotel “illegally.”
“I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie?” she wrote on Instagram.
Spears has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since she was freed from her conservatorship in Nov. 2021. She published her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” in Oct. 2023.
