‘Intoxicated’ Liam Payne was ‘kicked out’ of different hotel for ‘being a nuisance’ days before fatal balcony fall: report

Liam Payne was reportedly ejected from a different hotel in Argentina in the days leading up to his fatal hotel balcony fall.

Three sources told People on Friday that the former One Direction member was “kicked out” of the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires before he checked into CasaSur Palermo Hotel, where he died on Wednesday at the age of 31.

One insider said Payne was asked to leave Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires “because he was being a nuisance and disturbing the other guests and appeared intoxicated.”

Three sources said the former One Direction member was “kicked out” of the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires before he checked into CasaSur Palermo Hotel, where he died on Wednesday at the age of 31.

That hotel did not comment on the claims when contacted by People.

It’s unclear how long he was at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires or whether his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, was with him.

However, after spending two weeks on vacation with the singer, Cassidy left the country on Monday.

At some point after that, Payne checked into CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Before he fell from the third-story balcony of his suite, the songwriter was reportedly behaving “erratically” in the lobby.

A fellow hotel guest claimed they witnessed Payne arguing with an unnamed woman about money, allegedly telling her, “I’ll give you $20,000 just because I can. I have $55 million, and I like to help people.”

He reportedly partied and “drank alcohol” with two prostitutes hours before his death; however, the sex workers claimed the pop star seemed “normal” when they were with him.

Another hotel guest claimed they observed “disturbing” behavior from Payne, who allegedly explained, “I used to be in a boy band. That’s why I’m so f–ked up.”

Witnesses in the lobby said he smashed his laptop and had to be carried back to his room.

The hotel manager then called 911 and explained that he feared Payne would harm himself because of his state of mind.

By the time police arrived, “Payne had already fallen from the balcony of his room and died on the spot due to the severity of his injuries,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Forensic experts “pointed out that the cranial brain injuries were sufficiently suitable to cause death, while the internal and external hemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to the mechanism of death.”

Investigators believe Payne was likely in a “state of semi or unconsciousness” when he fell, adding that he was likely under the influence at the time.

Photos of Payne’s trashed room revealed apparent drugs, paraphernalia and alcohol scattered throughout.
