Jeremy Clarkson has worried his fans after revealing a bandaged wrist during an Instagram post.

The Clarkson’s Farm star, 64, flashed the injury while reeling off book recommendations after returning from a holiday with partner Lisa Hogan, 52.

The Grand Tour presenter spoke about novels including Annihilation by Michel Houellebecq and Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver.

However, Jeremy’s BookTok bid just turned out to be a plot to promote his own book Diddly Squat Home To Roost released on October 24.

Jeremy used his bandaged wrist to gesture to the books but did not mention the injury.

On the social media site, his followers expressed concern, among them comedy.by.shahin who said: ‘Has anything happened to your wrist? Hope you’re well and having a great holiday!’

Echoing their sentiment, cc.mil41 enquired: ‘How’d you hurt your wrist Jezza?’

kenworthy.kieran asked: ‘Have you been in a hospital @jeremyclarkson1?’

Also noticing the injury, sprocker_adventures remarked: ‘A injury has happened.’

Jeremy’s mystery injury comes after he admitted his financial worries after splurging £1,000,000 on his The Farmer’s Dog pub in the Cotswolds.

He told The Daily Mail’s Tom Parker Bowles: ‘This place is costing us a fortune. God knows if we’ll ever make our money back.’

Jeremy previously revealed he loses ‘£10 per customer’ because he only uses local produce.

He admitted that his ethos does not ‘make business sense’ but he just ‘filled his heart with hope’ even though it costs him a fortune.

The former Top Gear presenter also responded to grumblings from customers about the price of food in the pub’s restaurant.

He wrote in The Times: ‘We are getting better now, but I do ask, if you drop by, to remember this.

‘Your lunch, if it arrives at all, is costing us a lot more than it’s costing you. So please be kind.’

But despite tight purse strings, Jeremy would not accept any cash from Sir Keir Starmer or James May, who are both banned from his boozer.

The Farmer’s Dog first opened to the public on August 23 after Jeremy bought the establishment in Asthall, near Burford in Oxfordshire, earlier this year.
