2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek Edition coming to Canada

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is the newest addition to the list of crossovers with an off-road themed trim

  • Nissan Rogue Rock Creek edition will be coming to Canada in 2025
  • The Rock Creek Edition gets unique exterior and interior features
  • It should sit in the middle of the 2025 Nissan Rogue lineup

No word yet if the Canadian version will mirror the U.S. specs, but chances are it will based on cost savings and consistency — so here’s what we know about the U.S. version of the Nissan Rogue Rock Creek.

What’s different about the Nissan Rogue Rock Creek?

The Nissan Rogue Rock Creek will look a bit different than the average Rogue. It will get lava red accents on the exterior and interior Other Rock Creek-only features include:

  • Functional tubular roof rack with integrated crossbars
  • Unique Rock Creek grille
  • 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires
  • Gloss black badges and side mirrors
  • Leatherette-appointed, water-repellant seats with Rock Creek stitched in the upper portion
  • 360-degree camera with multiple angles through the Off-Road mode, which shows camera angles at speeds up to 19.3 km/hour
  • The shock absorbers are off-road tuned as well, and there’s a Hill-Descent control function.

What’s similarities does the Rock Creek Edition have with the rest of the Nissan Rogue lineup?

Notably the same, despite being a more rugged version of the Rogue, the ground clearance remains at 8.2 inches. Other similarities throughout the Rogue lineup include being powered by a 1.5 L turbocharged three-cylinder engine, the CVT and power figures. The infotainment system, instrument cluster, cargo space and standard safety features remain constant. Additionally, there’s the lack of a sunroof on this trim.

How does the 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek drive?

After half an hour on mild off-road trails consisting of grass, gravel and dirt, with light inclines and declines, the all-terrain tires make a significant difference. The thicker sidewall on the 235/65R17 tires made the rougher-than-pavement terrain easy to cut through. The 360-degree camera helped navigate around excessively tight turns and while I believe that the shocks have a bit more give to them, I didn’t especially notice it.

While I’m skeptical this will make it to true off-road trails, the Rogue Rock Creek will be attractive for those who enjoy the outdoors via camping, cottaging, rural adventures and road trips outside of the city.

Where will the 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek be positioned in the lineup?

In the U.S., the Rock Creek edition is dead centre of the Nissan Rogue lineup, above the SV and below the SL. In Canada, the Pathfinder Rock Creek is also dead centre. With the 2025 Nissan Rogue having four existing trims S, SV, SL, Platinum — we expect the Rock Creek to also be just above the SV.
