2025 Audi Q6 and SQ6 Sportback e-tron offer up to 509 hp

The battery-powered luxury SUV gets an overhaul, with new styling and advanced tech, including an augmented-reality HUD

  • Audi just revealed a refreshed Q6 Sportback e-tron with a new sleeker, more aerodynamic design
  • Dual motors paired to a 100-kWh battery provide impressive power and 270-kW DC fast-charging
  • Advanced tech includes an augmented-reality HUD, customizable lighting, and Android Automotive OS

The Q6 Sportback e-tron and the high-performance SQ6 Sportback e-tron are powered by a dual-motor setup plugged into a 100-kWh battery. The Q6 Sportback e-tron produces 422 horsepower (456 peak) while the SQ6 ramps that up to 483 horsepower (509 peak). Charging tech is advanced, with 270-kW DC fast-charging capabilities allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes under ideal conditions.

Audi has also improved driving dynamics for the Sportback models by redesigning the front axle and incorporating a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The vehicles include passive Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) and adaptive air suspension to enhance handling and comfort across various driving conditions.

Audi’s e-tron GT family inspires the exterior design of the Q6 Sportback e-tron. The sloping roofline, lower greenhouse, and bold front grille contribute to its distinctive appearance, while the rear features dynamic design elements such as a continuous light strip and sharp body lines.

Inside, the Q6 Sportback e-tron is fitted with Audi’s MMI panoramic display system, which includes an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch touch display. The infotainment system runs on Android Automotive OS.

Pricing and full performance details will be announced closer to the 2025 release date in North America. Canadian-market-specific info is still forthcoming; however, we expect little to no changes will be made compared to the U.S. car.
