That mail slot of a vent on the leading edge of its engine bonnet looks appropriate for the segment, as does the narrow grille bookended by fresh LED lighting signatures and silver-hued bumper garnish, which does a convincing impression of a skid plate. We’ll reserve judgment to its off-road effectiveness until we get behind the wheel in gnarly conditions. Chunky tires fill the squircle wheelwells very nicely, and orange tow hooks stand at the ready.
