Six young women bludgeoned two people with a hammer and robbed one of them in a brutal attack over the summer inside a Bronx tattoo studio, cops said this week.
The baby-faced crew used the tool to bash a 29-year-old man in the arm, before punching him in the face inside Flow Gangsta Tattoo on Third Avenue near East 152nd Street in Mott Haven minutes before 9 a.m. Aug. 17, authorities said.
Then they pummeled a 41-year-old woman, battered her with the hammer, and snatched her cell phone and credit card, police said.
The woman was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition, and the male victim was not hospitalized, police said.
Police could not confirm whether the victims worked at the studio.
The NYPD released clear photos Thursday night of the violent suspects – who appear to be as young as their teens or early 20s.
Anyone with information on the still-at-large muggers is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
