A haunting last photo shows missing Texas mother Suzanne Clark Simpson leaving a ritzy country club just hours before she vanished from home — allegedly following a screaming fight with her property tycoon husband.
Simpson, a 51-year-old real estate agent from Olmos Park, has not been seen or heard from since Sunday night when she attended a party at The Argyle, a private dinner club in nearby Alamo Heights.
Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas on Thursday shared a blurry photo of who police believe to be Simpson leaving the Argyle, KSAT reported.
“We’re trying every avenue,” Villegas told reporters. “But in the case that somebody has seen her — and she is in distress. That night, we think she was in distress. She may be somewhere, and we just don’t know about it.
“It’s very suspicious, though, that, obviously, she’s not going to work, and she’s not checking in on her children. So that’s an obvious problem.”
“But, at the same time, we don’t want to miss an opportunity to say, ‘Hey, this is what she looks like. Maybe somebody out there knows where she is or she’s hiding away or something.’ That’s why we’re showing you the clothing,” the chief added.
Simpson’s husband of 22 years, 53-year-old Brad Simpson, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with assault causing bodily injury – family violence and unlawful restraint.
Brad Simpson had reported his wife missing on Monday night — but a neighbor came forward to allege that they’d witnessed the pair fighting outside their home after the party that same night, cops have said.
