David Beckham has swapped the rush of the football pitch for the thrill of the farm as he enjoys a quiet country lifestyle.
The former England ace and Inter Miami owner, 49, has been showcasing his idyllic country life with his dogs, chickens, and even bees on his social media page.
His latest Instagram post is truly wholesome as he poses alongside his beloved chickens that wife Victoria gifted him for Christmas as well as the family’s four beautiful dogs.
The Beckham’s own cockapoo Simba as well as cocker spaniels Fig, Sage, and Olive. The family also reportedly own a German Shepherd, Logan, who wasn’t pictured.
David also posted some pictures of his prized beehives and a jar of his own honey alongside other produce from his very own garden.
‘Country life ❤️🐶🐓’ he captioned the post, with fans praising his love for his animals and the dedication he has put into farm life.
‘The best part of you..look at the love you have for your animals..that says it more then being famous or talented does. It shows a true self inside!!’ Seacreaturesam commented.
Mitchkew suggested Jeremy Clarkson and Clarkson’s Farm has competition, writing: ‘When is Beckham’s Farm coming out on Amazon Prime TV? 📺.’
David reportedly fell in love with beekeeping during lockdown and built a £500 hive in the garden of his Cotswolds home.
Fashion mogul Victoria, 50, has previously shared clips of her husband tending to his hive, and David even gifted King Charles III a pot of honey from his bees.
He showed off his hobby in his wildly popular Netflix documentary, donning his white bee suit to give fans an inside look at the insects.
Spice Girl Victoria gifted David chickens last Christmas, with the feathery members of the family quickly finding themselves at home in their spacious garden.
The star has also shared videos of him growing his own produce, pulling spring onions from his garden for a home-cooked meal.
‘Hay fever kicking in a little tickle in the throat but a little 🍯 will solve that… Looks like @victoriabeckham has a few spring onions for lunch and dinner for the next few weeks 😂 How am I doing @alantitchmarshmbe,’ he wrote on Instagram.
Gardener and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh jokingly responded: ‘Champion spring onions DB. Now nervous about holding on to my job 😬.’
David even shares his passion for organic produce with his children, posing alongside daughter Harper, 13, with some leafy greens in another post.
Elsewhere, he showed off two loaded boxes of vegetables packed with lettuces, cauliflower, potatoes, kale, carrots and even pears.
However, he shared his attempts at planting shrubbery in the garden, which some Instagram users branded ‘strange.’
‘Nobody in the history of mankind has dug a hole KNEELING or removed a plant from a plant pot like that! 😂😂😂😂’ laurenmcdonagh24 wrote.
Butterwakefield offered: ‘Please can I come to teach you how to dig a hole and take the rose out of the pot…. Please!!’
‘David that has to be the strangest way to dig a hole a plant a rose, I felt quite baffled 😯 😂😂😂 well done though 🤣’ wildwestrita added.
Who knows what incredible produce we will see in 2025 from the football star turned farmer – maybe some new fluffy arrivals if this adorable post is anything to go by.
Fans have been left enamoured by his quaint farming lifestyle – but not one loves his content as much as Victoria who has been left swooning over his organic antics.
Cooking a cottage pie for the family earlier this year, she gushed over her ‘fit chef’ husband and his prowess in the kitchen.
‘Tonight my family are coming over and David is cooking for 12 people’, she explained in the video, to which he replied: ‘I’m going safe with a cottage pie and as your family are coming over I deserve a drink, I love your family’.
While others made fun of his planting techniques, Victoria said her husband ‘looked good’ while putting his shrubs in the ground, cheekily zooming in on his bum in a tight pair of blue jeans.
However, she had joked about the amount of time he spends in the garden, commenting ‘Who is this man? Give me my husband back!’ on one of his posts.
