Cayden Primeau gets the nod in goal for the Montreal Canadiens in Boston.

Oliver Kapanen will make his regular season debut for the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden. Puck drop just after 7 p.m. (TSN, RDS, TSN Radio 690, 98.5 FM.)

After Sam Montembeault pitched a 48-save shutout in last night’s opener against the Leafs, it will be Cayden Primeau’s turn between the pipes. Primeau had two shutouts a season ago, to go along with an 8-9-4 record.

Kapanen will replace Emil Heineman in the lineup.

In other roster news, defenceman Gustav Lindström cleared waivers and is on loan to the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
